Go North KC, in partnership with ArtsKC, invites artists, illustrators, designers, and creatives of all backgrounds to submit proposals for a large-scale public art installation: the design of a 20-foot inflatable soccer ball that will travel to soccer-related events across Clay and Platte Counties throughout 2026.
As the region prepares to welcome the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this project aims to spotlight our vibrant arts community and create a showpiece installation—one that will serve as a beacon of creativity, drawing attention, inspiring community pride, and elevating the fan experience at festivals, parades, watch parties, and public celebrations.
